Win a copy of ‘THE FLIGHT’ by John Dibbs and Clive Rowley
This month, we’re excited to be giving away three copies of a newly published book about the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Three lucky Club members will win a copy of the hardback book, which features superb air-to-air portraits of the Flight’s aircraft by renowned aviation photographer John Dibbs, alongside carefully restored archive images that bring the realities of war into sharp focus and remind us that these machines were designed for fighting.
The RAF Memorial Flight Club’s very own publications editor, former OC BBMF, Clive Rowley, provided the words for the book. He details the Flight’s history and its current activities, but the majority of the text consists of insightful and moving quotes, interviews and short stories by wartime aircrew who flew the types of aircraft now operated by the BBMF.
How to enter the ballot
All current members of the Club have been entered into this month’s ballot prize draw. If you’re not already a member, please join the RAF Memorial Flight Club before 1 November 2017.
As well as being entered into this month’s prize draw, you’ll also receive a Club membership pack. The pack contains detailed information about the BBMF and exclusive gifts including a BBMF wallplanner, pin badge and car sticker. Club members can also claim a free aircraft hangar tour at the BBMF Visitor Centre.
