Win tickets to the BBMF Members' Day

This year’s Members’ Day will be held at the BBMF, RAF Coningsby on Sunday 2 October 2016. It is an annual event when the BBMF says thank you to its supporters.

Tickets have sold out, but you have one more chance to attend. We’re giving away two adult tickets to one lucky member as this month’s ballot prize!

How to enter the ballot

All current members of the Club have been entered into this month’s ballot prize draw. If you’re not already a member, please join the RAF Memorial Flight Club before 4 September 2016.

As well as being entered into this month’s prize draw, you’ll also receive a Club membership pack. The pack contains detailed information about the BBMF and exclusive gifts including a 2016 BBMF wallplanner, pin badge and car sticker. Club members can also claim a free aircraft hangar tour at the BBMF Visitor Centre.

About the BBMF Members' Day

Traditionally held on the final day of the flying display season, Members’ Day sees the BBMF’s home at RAF Coningsby welcoming a large crowd made up of RAF Memorial Flight Club and Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association members. Weather permitting, the event usually features some large and unusual formations of the BBMF aircraft and special displays, as a way of showing gratitude for the support the Flight receives. This year will also be the last opportunity to see some of the Flight’s aircraft, including the Lancaster, in their current liveries and ‘identities’, as they are due to be re-painted with new colour schemes over the winter.

These are always very special days, with tickets available only to members and not open to the general public. As always, the flying programme is subject to the vagaries of autumn weather and it is also worth remembering that airfields can be cold and draughty places, especially at that time of the year, so come prepared.

Gates open at 10am. Please follow the brown road signs for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight; please do not go to RAF Coningsby’s Guardroom. Entry to the event will be on a ticket-only basis, so please remember to bring them with you. Membership cards are not required.

Flying times are dependant on weather conditions and will be made available upon your arrival in the hangar. Cameras are allowed at the event, but mobile phones must be switched off or left offsite.
