How you can help
Profits from the RAF Memorial Flight Club support the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, so we’d really appreciate it if you could help us spread the word. Take a look at a few of the ways you can help us do this.
1) Give a membership pack as a present
Looking for a birthday present or a Christmas gift for an aviation fan? You can purchase one of our gift packs in the BBMF Visitor Centre’s shop. Alternatively, you can contact us to pay by credit/debit card or cheque.
The gift pack contains:
- Detailed information about the BBMF and the history of the aircraft
- Bonus member gifts including a pin badge, wallplanner and car sticker
- One year’s membership of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club
2) Mention us on Facebook or Twitter
If you’re already a member and are enjoying the RAF Memorial Flight Club, we’d really appreciate it if you could tell others about it via your Facebook or Twitter account.
Let your friends and family know that they can join the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s official club online at www.memorialflightclub.com. For just £30 (or slightly more if you’re outside the UK), you’ll be supporting Britain’s living memorial to the aircrews of World War Two.
You’ll receive a membership pack full of information about the aircraft, a regular members’ magazine from the BBMF and a free hangar tour at the Visitor Centre at RAF Coningsby.
3) Promote the Club on your website or blog
If you run your own website or blog, we’d really appreciate you including a link to our site or a banner promoting the RAF Memorial Flight Club.
Please send us an email so that we can supply you with a logo or banner in the right size for your website.
4) Mention the RAF Memorial Flight Club at your event
Let us know if there are any opportunities to mention the Club at any events you may be organising - particularly if you’ve been lucky enough to secure a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
We may be able to provide you with images and information for your website or Facebook page, could send you some leaflets or may even be able to provide a spokesperson for a radio interview.
5) Offer a competition prize for our members
Our members are automatically entered into a prize draw every month and we also occasionally run other competitions for fans of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Please do get in touch if you have any prizes that may be of interest to the Flight’s supporters. Offering a competition prize can be a great way to promote an experience or product.
