“I joined the Club because I grew up five miles from Biggin Hill in the 1940s and 1950s and have always loved Spitfires. Coming to the Members’ Day is my favourite experience as a member of the Club. I love the newsletters and the yearbook.”
John Kallend, USA
“You are such a great club, I had to join. My favourite experience as a member of the Club is coming to Members’ Day and meeting up with likeminded members. I’d absolutely recommend joining the club to others – it is so easy to join! You make everything so simple. We love you!!!”

“I have a lifelong interest in the Lancaster and Spitfire. I joined the Club as I wanted to be a part of keeping them in the air. It’s important to keep the aircraft flying and the history alive. The newsletters and updates are a great way to stay in touch and I love receiving them.”
Don Bryce, Canada
“I have always loved the RAF BBMF. The BBMF Lancaster is so iconic, there’s no air show without them. I support the flight every year! I’ve had outstanding service from the Memorial Flight Club and would recommend others to join without question. It’s wonderful to be part of the Flight.”
James Patrick Dempsey, UK
“I joined the Club to help preserve the heritage of the RAF. My favourite experience as a member is coming to Members’ Day and getting to meet the team. I’d recommend joining the Club to others as the regular updates are fantastic!”

"I have been a member for 2 years now and I cannot recommend it enough. I absolutely love aviation and it has always been a big part of my family. My uncle used to be one of the engineers on the BBMF and my Grandad especially used to be in the RAF. Growing up, I always went to airshows with my family so it's always been in my blood. One of my favourite experiences is the members day where you can get up and close to the aircraft and pilots. It is always an amazing experience to get out learn more about each aircraft. I have an entire jacket full of patches I've collected from previous airshows along with the BBMF club member patch. If you're an aviation lover then it's 100% worth joining the BBMF club."
Amber Mae, UK
"I have been a member of the BBMF Memorial Club for a number of years. I joined because I believe those men and women who gave their lives in either the First or Second World War in the defence of our freedom should never be forgotten. In preserving the aircraft in an airworthy condition allows many more people to see and remember at air displays or flypasts. BBMF aircraft are always a very welcome addition to any airshow. Being a member, receiving regular newsletters and hopefully attending the Member’s Day at the end of the flying season is a real treat and allows me to contribute to and feel very much part of the BBMF and the preservation of a significant part of aviation history."
