All members of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club are automatically entered into our monthly prize ballots to win some wonderful prizes. Since the Official Club recommenced operations after a pause forced by the COVID pandemic lock down, these have been the ballot prizes for the months of June to August 2020 and the lucky Club members who won them:
This month, two lucky Club members can each win a signed copy of John Nichol’s latest book, Lancaster, The Forging of a Very British Legend, which tells the story of the legendary aircraft, and the men who flew it.
We will randomly select two winners who will receive one book each.

Personnel from all three of the Armed Forces of the UK paid tribute to ‘Forces Sweetheart’, Dame Vera Lynn, at her funeral on 10th July. Dame Vera died in June aged 103. Sailors from HMS Collingwood, guardsmen of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards and airmen of the Queen’s Colour Squadron of the RAF Regiment formed the bearer party.
