We have a wonderful ballot prize to offer RAF Memorial Flight Official Club members this month – a weekend break for four at Saunton Beach Villas in Saunton Sands, North Devon! Our lucky winner will be able to claim their prize on a weekend of their choice from September - December 2019.

How to enter the ballot

All current members have been automatically entered into this month’s ballot. If you’re not already a member, please join the Club by 25th August 2019 to be entered into this prize draw. 

On top of this month’s ballot prize for Club members, we’re also giving away some bonus prizes. Three lucky people will win a copy of D-Day: From the Invasion to the Liberation of Paris by Richard Holmes.

Complete the entry from below by 31 August 2019 to be in with a chance of winning. This competition is open to everybody, so please do share it with your friends and family. Our three winners will be drawn at random and contacted by email in September.

Since 2012 BBMF Hurricane Mk IIC PZ865 has been painted in the South East Asia Command, 34 Squadron colours of the personal aircraft of Flight Lieutenant Jimmy Whalen DFC RCAF. Jimmy Whalen was shot down and killed by Japanese ground fire on 18th April 1944, whilst he was flying another Hurricane, five days before his 24th birthday. At the end of the 2019 display season PZ865 will be flown to Biggin Hill to undergo a ‘Major’ maintenance programme under contract with The Spitfire Company, from which it will emerge in a new colour scheme as an all-black 247 Squadron night-fighter Hurricane.
