Win a VIP visit to the BBMF at RAF Coningsby
We have a very exciting ballot prize on offer to members of the RAF Memorial Flight Club this month. One lucky member will win a VIP visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight on a date of their choice and will be able to bring along up to 3 guests!
You’ll find the programme of events for the VIP visit listed below. Highlights include being allowed to enter the Dakota (subject to serviceability), meeting OC BBMF Andy ‘Milli’ Millikin and a buffet lunch in the Lancaster Lounge.
How to enter the ballot
All current members of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club have been entered into this month’s ballot. If you’re not already a member, please join the Club before 1 January 2017
As well as being entered into this month’s prize draw, you’ll also receive a Club membership pack. The pack contains detailed information about the BBMF and exclusive gifts including a BBMF pin badge, car sticker and wallplanner.
Members can also claim a free aircraft hangar tour at the BBMF Visitor Centre and will receive our Club magazine, published twice a year. The magazines feature behind-the-scenes news and images from the BBMF, along with a host of interesting historical articles.

About this month’s prize
The prize is for 4 people (the winner plus 3 guests) and can be claimed from Monday to Friday. A convenient date will be arranged once the prize has been awarded.
The programme of events for the VIP visit is as follows:
1000 hrs - Arrival via the Visitors’ Centre. Refreshments in the Lancaster Lounge.
1010 hrs - Short 15-20 min RAF BBMF bespoke VIP presentation in the main briefing room from a BBMF Ambassador, who will be your personal guide and host for the day.
1030 hrs - Hangar Tour with personal guide covering the history of the aircraft. The tour will include:
- Getting up close and personal with the Spitfire & Hurricane.
- Entry into the Dakota including the cockpit. This is subject to serviceability.
- Photographs of you with the aircraft.
1200 hrs – Buffet lunch in the Lancaster Lounge.
1300 hrs – Farewell from OC BBMF before departure.
