Donations to the BBMF

Donations to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) can now be made via the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club.

The first organisation to take advantage of this facility is the Bradway Action Group, which has made a donation of £100 to the BBMF via the Official Club. Bradway is a leafy suburb in south-west Sheffield. The Bradway Action Group (BAG) was established in 2003 and aims to look after the interests of all who live, learn, work or play in the area. The Group holds an annual Fun Day for the community, which has been supported by a BBMF flypast since 2016. This is a huge attraction for the show and something very much appreciated by everyone who attends. The Group’s donation is a thank you to the BBMF for all of the Flight’s hard work and efforts.

Also making a donation this month is the Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants (WCoBM), one of the Livery Companies of the City of London, which has donated £2,000 to the BBMF. The WCoBM plays a key part in the builders’ merchant sector, promoting training and education for builders’ merchants and fundraising for a number of charities. The BBMF is now officially affiliated with the WCoBM.
