MBE for ‘Milli’

We are delighted to record that former Officer Commanding the BBMF, Squadron Leader Andy ‘Milli’ Millikin, has become an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List published on 8th June.

‘Milli’ flew as a volunteer fighter pilot with the BBMF from 2012-15 and was the Officer Commanding from 2015-18. He is now flying Eurofighter Typhoons again as a flight commander with 41 Squadron, the Typhoon Test and Evaluation unit based at RAF Coningsby, and continues to fly Spitfires privately.
