The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club is pleased to announce the winners of the photographic competition for the new 2024 Club calendar. The winning 13 members’ photos of BBMF aircraft – one for the cover and 12 for the months of the year – were selected by OC BBMF, Squadron Leader Mark ‘Suggs’ Sugden, with the Club’s publication editor, former OC BBMF, Clive Rowley.

The RAF BBMF offers its Official Club members some ‘money cannot buy it’ experience ballot prizes each year; one of these is a Spitfire cockpit experience. This year’s winner of the Spitfire cockpit experience, Club member Rebecca Cooper from London, took up her prize on 7th August.

Club member Simon Smith from Leicester was the lucky winner of the Club ballot prize of a BBMF Experience Day. He took up his prize on Saturday 12th August and brought his wife Angela to RAF Coningsby to spend a day ‘behind the scenes’ at the BBMF. The BBMF host for the day was Squadron Leader (retired) Clive Rowley, a former RAF fighter pilot and Officer Commanding BBMF, and now the Flight’s publications editor.
