Suggs and Ernie Q and A session

BBMF Q&A video session – Club members’ feedback

The feedback from Club members about the recent BBMF Q&A video session has been extremely positive and clearly it was enjoyed and appreciated by many. Amongst the emails received by the Club office were these comments from members.

“Thank you, Gentlemen, very interesting. Long may you keep these wonderful aircraft flying.” (Club member David Monkcom)

“What a great idea to have a Q&A session with the leaders of the bomber and fighter pilots. Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode and long may it continue.” (Club member Graham Farrell)

“Thank you so much from Adelaide, South Australia, for that Q&A. It was sensational and fascinating. My late father flew Lancs with 103 Squadron from Elsham Wolds in 1944. Maybe I’m too sensitive, but your answer to the final question verbalised exactly my own feelings and the tears are running down my face as I type this response. We just can’t start to imagine what it must have been like – we are so lucky and owe such a debt. People like yourselves are a huge assistance in keeping it at the forefront. Lest we Forget.” (Club member Andy Frish)

We thank Squadron Leaders Mark ‘Suggs’ Sugden and Paul ’Ernie’ Wise for giving up some of their valuable time to record the Q&A session for us and we hope we will be able to persuade the Flight to do a ‘Part 2’ over the winter period.
