Club membership – the perfect Christmas gift

Looking for a Christmas gift for friends or family? A Club membership pack would make a great gift, and you’ll be directly supporting the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight by purchasing one.

You can buy a gift Club membership pack from the Club’s online shop here or by telephoning the Club office on 01905 570727, where we can help you make a purchase by card.

The cost for a new membership of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club in the UK is £35 including postage, in Europe it is £40 and in the rest of the world it is £45.

If you buy a membership as a gift the membership pack will be sent out to you so you can wrap it and present it to the lucky recipient for Christmas. It will have a form inside which they can fill in and return to us after Christmas to start their membership. Their membership will last for one year from the date they register their information with us.

Other wonderful Club branded items, such as Club polo shirts, hats, snoods and umbrellas, are also on sale from the Club online shop here and could make perfect top-up gifts.

Membership pack contents

The gift pack provides detailed information about the BBMF and the history of the Flight’s aircraft, as well as the first year’s membership of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club. Each pack contains:

• The latest Club magazine – produced twice a year, the high-quality Club magazines allow members to meet the team, discover what happens behind the scenes at the Flight and learn about some of the history and heritage commemorated by the BBMF.
• BBMF Official Guide – full details of the BBMF aircraft and their colour schemes.
• Aircraft data sheets – specifications of the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster and Dakota.
• Bonus member gifts – pin badge, 2026 wall planner, poster, car sticker and pen.

The lucky recipient can activate their club membership by completing the membership form included in the pack.

Club members’ benefits

Once membership has been activated, there are many benefits to being a full member of this exclusive club:

• Twice-yearly magazines – Club members automatically receive copies of the glossy and informative BBMF Yearbooks and Autumn Journals. These magazines are exclusive to our members and are not on sale to the general public.
• Monthly ballot prizes – Club members are automatically entered into our monthly prize draws to win some truly special prizes.
• Email newsletters – Club members receive monthly email newsletters from the BBMF, which contain detailed information exclusively for members to keep up to date with news from the Flight.
• Free BBMF hangar tours – Club members can claim admittance to a tour of the BBMF hangar, via the BBMF Visitor Centre, free of charge on production of a valid membership card.
• Members’ Day at the BBMF – The Club is allocated a number of tickets for the BBMF Members’ Day held at the Flight’s home at RAF Coningsby each year, usually on the final day of the flying season. These are always very special days with access available only to ticket-holding members of the Official Club and the Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association.
