The primary scheme in this kit depicts the aircraft as it was during The Dambusters Raid in which 19 of the specially modified Lancaster bombers attacked the Mohne, Eder, Sorpe and Ennepe dams using a special type of bomb, the Upkeep mine or ‘bouncing bomb’.
