Official Club calendar 2024 - cover photo
During 2024 we will present the image from the calendar in the Club newsletters each month with some details about how, when and where the photo was taken.
This month we feature the superb cover photo taken by Club member Mike Gauckwin. The picture features a BBMF three-ship formation with Lancaster PA474 leading Spitfire PR Mk XIX PS915 in its silver 81 Squadron colours, and Spitfire Mk IX MK356 in its 92 Squadron desert camouflage scheme. Mike captured the BBMF formation at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford in 2018. It was taken using a Canon 7dmk11 with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens at 1/160th of a second and F10.
The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club 2024 calendar is available to purchase from the Club’s office and makes a brilliant Christmas present that lasts a whole year.
The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club 2024 calendar costs just £12 including postage and can be purchased by telephoning the Club office on 01905 570727, or you can pick one up for the price of £10 (because no postage is required) in the Visitor Centre at RAF Coningsby.
