On top of this month’s ballot prize for Club members, we’re also giving away a bonus prize worth over £55 – a collection of commemorative stamps produced to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. The RAF 100 Commemorative Sheetleet has a special connection to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as it was one of only 500 sheetlets which took a trip in BBMF Lancaster PA474 on 10th July 2018 during the RAF 100 Flypast.

Complete the entry form below by 1st December 2019 to be in with a chance of winning. This competition is open to everybody, so please do share it with your friends and family. The winner will be drawn at random and contacted by email in December.

About the D-Day 75 and RAF 100 stamps

Kindly donated by the Isle of Man Post Office, the prize includes the following items:

  • A D-Day 75 Commemorative Sheetlet which features evocative images in a 'stamp on stamp' design, presented inside a special folder.
  • A D-Day 75 Presentation Pack - the complete set of D-Day 75 stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Normandy presented inside a four-page glossy folder.
  • A D-Day 75 First Day Cover featuring an illustrated information card, informative issue text and a special postmark.
  • An RAF 100 Special Flypast Commemorative Sheetlet - this is one of only 500 sheetlets which was flown in the BBMF's Avro Lancaster PA474 on 10th July 2018, taking off from Waddington in Lincolnshire, flying over London for the RAF 100 Flypast and landing at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. The sheetlet will be housed perfectly inside the folder which will be specially numbered and contain images and text from the historic flypast.
