This month, one lucky Club member will win a pair of officially licensed RAF BBMF t-shirts and the maps used to plan the BBMF’s flypast over Westminster Abbey on Battle of Britain Sunday 2016. The maps have been signed by OC BBMF, Sqn Ldr Andy ‘Milli’ Millikin.
The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club autumn journal for 2016 has just been published and will be sent out to members in the next couple of weeks. The 76-page magazine is packed with stunning photographs – many of them previously unpublished – and with fascinating feature articles.
The annual Members’ Day, when the BBMF says thank you to its supporters, was held at the Flight’s home at RAF Coningsby on Sunday 2nd October. A crowd of 2,500 members of the Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association and the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club enjoyed a superb autumn day with plenty of flying and action.
